The Steel Block Bandits Late Model Series is featured in the January, 2012, edition of Dirt Late Model Magazine. This special “champions issue” article briefly recaps Walker Arthur’s championship run and mentions many other drivers and tracks at which the series participated during the 2011 racing season. This marks the second time that the Steel Block Bandits Series has been featured in this national publication, the first of which was August, 2010. |

The Steel Block Bandits would like to express its deepest sympathies to Eastside Speedway's promoter/manager Tim Southern and his family on the loss of thier son Kyle. Kyle lost his life in an accident on Route 20 in Buckingham County Friday afternoon. - God Speed Kyle. |
To honor Kyle, and support the Southern Family, the Bandits have purchased 200 of these decals and will request that the drivers run them on their cars at various events. |
